PhD Student Research Stays PDF Print E-mail

As part of our PhD students Education Program, we currently sent they to improve their research behaviours working under the supervision of well known world wide researchers. These stays, for 3 or 4 months, are planned in recognised research institutions or laboratories.

Image Carlos Augusto Galindez Jamioy, Colombian, PhD Student at the Photonics Engineering Group is progressing with his PhD education at EPFL, Lausanne , Switzerland. He is working for 3 months under the direction of Prof. Luc Thevenaz in the area Fiber Brillouin Distributed Sensors as part of his PhD Program in University of Cantabria.

Image José Miguel Lázaro Urrutia, Spanish, PhD Student at the Photonics Engineering Group, is progressing with his PhD education at University of Bath, (United Kingdom), ,. He is working for 3 months under the direction of Prof. Jonathan Knight in the area Photonic Crystal sensors as part of his PhD Program in University of Cantabria.
