Jaspreet Singh formed the company Fiberonics. After completing his master of technology (MTech) degree in optoelectronics and optical communications from IIT Delhi in Dec 1989, Jaspreet Singh has worked in the field of photonics for more than sixteen years. During the initial three years, he served as a senior scientific officer in the IIT Delhi Industrial R&D Division, in which his major contributions included developing photonics components based on side-polished single-mode optical fibers and lithium niobate waveguides, and the development of three software packages related to computer-aided characterization of optical fibers and components.
