| Abstract: | In this deliverable we report the strategies for power and thermal modeling and characterization that are proposed for the SCALOPES project. In particular, these strategies are suitable to be applied to the industrial platform ST1300 targeted to video surveillance
applications (WPA2). However, the proposed strategies are generally applicable to multicore multimedia platforms equipped with core processors, memories, peripherals and configurable logic. We propose characterization strategies depending on the type of components and at
