Resumen: | This paper presents a behavioral model of an implantable device for blood flow and pressure measurement in the pulmonary artery. The purposed device consists of a pair of MEMS capacitive pressure sensors integrated with a capacitance-to-voltage converter circuit. Several common blood flow measurement techniques have been compared, with pressure-sensing approaches showing the better suitability to provide a reliable restenosis follow up. The model has been simulated under different grades of obstruction in the pulmonary artery, in order to obtain an estimation of the device behavior for every restenosis condition |
